INTERMED began its commercial activity in March 1996 as the exclusive distributor for the Italian territory of important companies in the field of medical diagnostics. The INTERMED philosophy is based on the research and development of new products and new solutions adapted to the needs of the market and users.

For this reason, five trademarks have been registered, aligned with the company's brand, which aim to identify the products and future solutions of the INTERMED portfolio by product type: LifeMED - i.e. diagnostic products and electromedical devices, Tel-eMED - i.e. and telemedical support services, PraxiMED - consumer products and medicines, RehaMED - rehabilitation and anti-decubitus devices and products and DynaMED - orthopedic devices and orthoses.
